matt s. Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Helloooooo, I really need a hardcase for my Gibson G3. It's a 1976 natural colour, and sounds beautiful! But I can't find any hardcases that are wide enough at the body end... The body width is 38cm, but all the cases that I can find only go up to 36cm. SO, does anyone know of any cases that will be able to accommodate my bass? I can only really spend up to £80...and I know that original Gibson hardcases are a lot more than that. Thanks! Quote
evilLordJuju Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 Did your band record in the end Matt? Wouldn't mind hearing what you did with the G3 (have I got the right Matt?) Jules Quote
matt s. Posted February 17, 2010 Author Posted February 17, 2010 Hey Jules!! Yes it's me We haven't actually recorded anything yet unfortunately but we are going on a UK tour in April...what city are you near as you could come and see us, and the G3 in action! Cheers Quote
Paul S Posted February 17, 2010 Posted February 17, 2010 (edited) Hiscox STD-EDP extra large bass case would do it, and that's around £80 delivered. I fitted my fat-arsed Washburn Scavenger into one. Ask nicely and they'll give you extra pads, too. Edited February 17, 2010 by Paul S Quote

I have my Ripper in a custom-build flight case (from the early '80s) but I struggle to pick it up Quote
