possible pickup problem

had a problem with my bass last few days, for some reason its buzzing when i dont touch the bass but as soon as i touch anything metal on the bass its stops.

really dont know what it could be, ive tried a different lead just in case its that.

itsa hondo II bass with seymour duncan spb-2's in it if that helps.

sounds like you have a problem with the ground connection, i had a similar issue with my p bass a few years back....not sure what the electrickery is like in yours but in mine the ground is connected to the bridge and the wire had came away.

just been practice and used their amp andit wasnt doing it so it must be my practice amp.
