Machines Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Howdy chaps. I'm not playing anywhere near as much as I used to and fancy a change of scenery to hopefully reignite things. This is a 2007 version with optional gold hardware, comes with original Warwick Rockbag and Warwick Owners Pack. The bass is in mint condition with no battle scars, I haven't even gigged it. Cost of this new is around £1200, so i'm looking for trade offers of instruments of similar quality/2nd hand value (£750). I'm open to offers on 4/5 strings - basically what have you ? I would however be willing to trade for a Fender Marcus Miller Jazz (Natural) with £200 thrown in (my way !), is that a fair deal ?
Musicman20 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Oh heck...quite like that colour. If you decide to sell let me know, I'm just looking around at the moment
Machines Posted February 19, 2010 Author Posted February 19, 2010 £750 cash price it is then ! I could pick myself up a Miller and pocket the change easily..
trendgame Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Would you be interested in my fretless 5 string custom build? Details here.. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=75846
Machines Posted February 20, 2010 Author Posted February 20, 2010 I've dabbled in fretless enough to know it isn't for me ! Thanks for the offer though, looks a nice bass.

tonyf Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 A Marcus Miller?! Bah ha ha ha ha, welcome back to "4 string land"! I knew the force of the low B wouldn't hold the young Jedi for long! Fancy a blue sparkle flea bass?! Hope you're well dude. T

Musicman20 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 I think this might be a brilliant introduction to Warwick for me....hmmm. Im a bit wary of shipping though. As I messaged...I need to check the funds
I think this might be a brilliant introduction to Warwick for me....hmmm. Im a bit wary of shipping though. As I messaged...I need to check the funds
Me too, i'm most definitely not a fan of couriers, but if it came down to it i'd put the Warwick case inside a cardboard box (commute past PMT Birmingam so can get one easy). That should be as safe as possible, but i'd imagine carriage would be at least £20.
Golchen Posted February 23, 2010 Posted February 23, 2010 Mmmmmmmmm. That is absolutely my favourite Warwick look - red oil with gold. A delicious looking bass if ever I saw one. I'd love it if I wasn't broke.
wildman Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 So Matt, the 'vette is on the move again ! Have a bump on me - this used to be mine and is a cracking bass with an unbelievable range of tones from the pickups. These can be blended, coil tapped and soloed at your will to create J and MM sounds as well as the classic Warwick growl.
Machines Posted February 26, 2010 Author Posted February 26, 2010 Cheers wildman. I've had a few nibbles but nothing that takes my fancy, i'll give it another few days and might end up withdrawing if the market is this quiet.
Machines Posted February 27, 2010 Author Posted February 27, 2010 I've lined up a trade now, thanks for the interest .
dunetune_jazz Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Matt is totally a Top Fella .... Many thanks ..
