Lovely. It just looks so tactile.

Thanks... I'm cuddling it right now. Well you gotta make your new basses feel at home, right??

Hey cd david and discreet. Thanks for your kind comments and thanks 'discreet' for re-sizing the image.
My lack of photography skills really don't do these basses any justice. In the flesh they all look so much better.
I've had the Euro5 for a while. I'm not really a 5 string player but when I originally saw it for sale I couldn't resist.
I subsequently bought the NS5XL with the intention of moving on the Euro5 but then found I couldn't bring myself to
sell it.

No problem. I generally don't like green basses, but there's something about that one. It's a cracker! :)

You're welcome and if you ever think about selling it (or swap it for my overwater 6 ) give me a shout

Cheers

Did you buy the 5XL off here a while back?

My trusty NS-94 and a styleised (it's trans blue) pic of my first bass - NS-2000/4 bought new from the Bass Centre in '99. Mid-range Spectors have great build quality and are therefore good platforms for electronics upgrades. Both of these go for less than £200 these days.
Also not so long ago I remember the Czech LX series going for £600-700 in the now defunct Sound Control - how did they get so expensive?

Yes, I've been looking at that. I've also been looking at this:

And I have a strange longing to own this, too:

The plum one's wrong, just WRONG! But the Helium's a beauty.

Yes, but it's so RIGHT! I think I may just be plum-curious...
