neptunehealer
I am suffering from chronic pains in my left should which i think is from using a stupidly thin strap. I bought a new wide one at the weekend and it just isn't long enough. Does anyone know where i can get a nice wide and long strap, as i normally play down by my hip if that makes sense. Thanks in advance. Nep

Try measuring a piece of string and check it out that way.
EBS_freak
Give Bob at Brookwood Leather a call. He'll make you the perfect strap, any length, any width to a design that you specify, at a competitive price. OK, it's going to be more expensive than your common off the shelf examples but it will be perfect. Check this out as an example of a customer requiring a wider than usual strap... Old Horse Murphy
Got one of these I don't use. It's as new (still smells like a leather shop!)and is up to 54" long and 4" wide. It's backed in suede so doesn't slip either. I've fitted Schaller straplocks to it but can remove them easily enough. Yours for £25 in P&P. tarcher
There are plenty of leather workers in this country will make you a strap to your design and size. If you cant find any one pm me and I can put you on to some one local to me who can do you a nice custom job for not a shed load of dosh. You can even have it engraved with lots of pretty designs as well. Come to that you could make one for yourself if you wanted quite a plain design. If you wanted to decorate it,its not to hard to do either.
umcoo
I've got an Overwater strap....think it was £20/30 a few years back? I'm 6ft 3 and it goes down to my hip at the longest setting. About 3-4inches wide. Good quality too.
acidbass
I've always loved the range of straps that Corvo make - they can make them to whatever length you like and the designs are funky! Hope this helps your search
