I'm inclined to believe it's kosher, but whoever's bid on it must have giant hairy knackers! Not just moderately large ones, like mine. ^_^
ednaplate
I wonder if it's anyone on here who's put a bid. I spotted this just now. I don't know what prices vintage Precisions fetch but this one is a year older and looks like it has been in a few abusive relationships. I also noticed there is no 'L' in the serial number. I don't know the significance of this. No mention of Uncles loft and all the relevant bits are shown and clearly known about. You'd also get a cirtificate of authenticity from them. 62's also have a certain cache about them. That's why the Pino CS and all those re-issue are 62's. Different kettle of drum really...
SS73
Well the bidder is possibly German and has bought a few instruments in the last few weeks.
SS73
Looks like the first bidder went to 3600 and lost to another who looks, judging by his history to be a mate, did anyone manage to view the bass?
throwoff
I got this wierd feeling its stolen no evidence whatsoever for this aside from looking at the fact there is not feedback, pics were taken by someone not at all familiar with photgraphing basses, and the fact they took the neck off and left the strings on. just gut instinct Edited February 27, 2010 by throwoff
geoffbassist
What happened in the end? Couldn't work it out from the page. Has the seller changed? Mmm
