Hi Guy's , I'm tempted to sell my Valenti P, only cause I've ordered a new fretless. The quality of this bass is right up there with the best (as you'd expect from a former Sadowsky employee), in fact there is no real difference between the Valenti and my NYC Sadowsky. Fit and finish is excellent.

Here's the spec:

Swamp Ash Body
Transparent Blue Finish
Maple neck with Maple fretboard
Satin Finish on neck
Nordstrand NP4 Precision Pickup
Aguilar OBP-1 preamp
Controls: volume, bass, treble
Hipshot HB-1 Tuning Keys
Hipshot D-tuner
Gotoh Quick Release Bridge
Black Pearl Pickguard
Black Hardware

Also will come with a fitted SKB hard case.

Here's a couple of reviews of this very bass:

More info avalible from www.valentibasses.com

The bass will be sold with a fresh set up and a new set of Sadowsky strings fitted.
I'm looking for £750

Cheers

I have heard nothing but good stuff on Valenti Basses and that floor is almost infamous on TB.

I wish I had the £750 to throw on it but I dont. Good luck with the sale mate.

This would match my shuker really well - but unfortunately it's just a little more than I can afford to put down on it right now.

Cheers for the words guy's. Just been playing this on a session at work, not sure I should sell it, but we now operate a strict one in one out rule at home :)

Oh that's nice ... famous too ..

So is there anything in the rules about like for like?
How close does it have to be?

Could you, say, IN and new bass and OUT a full bag of recycled newspapers, a few wire coat hangers, an old mains lead and a few fridge magnets??

Wood, wires, magnets .. more or less the same basic ingredients .....
Worth a go ?

It IS a nice floor, may have looked better with a nitro finish IMHO :)

Oh by the way the Valenti is fitted with a VTC (vintage tone control, see Sadowsky's website for more info as it's the same as theirs) and the pre amp is an 18v system giving excellent head room.
