His feedback recently showed that he'd also sold a vintage Fender gold sparkle P bass but as it has slipped past the 90 days you can no longer view the link! Considering how rare they must be he's one hell of a lucky guy to have found a matching pair! :)

It shows the watermark in the glitter paint to prove it's not a forgery. Otherwise, you could make loads of 1964 Precisions by running them through a modern colour photocopier. Oh hang on, wait ...

So now that the auction is ended it does make me wonder why most of the images have been removed... Oh no I remember: taken from the previous time it was listed and discussed!
...but if you're hosting the images yourself, you can include as many as you like in the main description with no charge.

Why the seller would go to the effort of typing a description as text, pasting it into an image, saving it out, hosting it and then linking to it is a mystery to me.

Unless being able to delete the image after the auction closes, and therefore all record of the text of the auction, is useful to them... :)
I'm a skeptical owld git but when stuff like that happens (as predicted) it does make you wonder.

Actually yeah I do remember that being discussed!
Could look suspect couldn't it!

Although all the txt is still there on this listing, just some pictures disappeared. I can select the writing as if it's txt, not like it's a JPEG!?
