Line 6 Low Down Bass Head

Line 6 bass amp modelling in a dedicated bass head (+ they do cabs etc) anyone tried one out?

I've tried out the Lowdown 1x15 Bass Combo, the LD300 Pro. Used it Live and in the studio. Not a bad amp, clean DI out, fairly good EQ, so if that's anything to go by this head should be similar. I for one didn't like the inbuilt effects or the channel system. I'd prefer to spend that money on a nice Hartke or Ashdown head, but that's just my opinion. I've got plenty effects on my board.

i just bought the hd750 had it a week and its going back the sound is terrible

They've been out a while I use the 300pro. Honestly with the 750 I think they need to rethink their price point.

Tried some line 6 stuff before settling on my TC head

Great idea and some great sounds, but in my opinion, they are line 6 sounds, not your bass which becomes a trigger

But having said that, if you just want to play a basic bass and have different style sounds at the turn of a knob, this is simple and will do what it says on the tin

I want something that will enhance the character of my basses and the TC does that

Please understand though, this is just what I found, and I am just a functions/pub band player not a pro

Generally quite different price points between the rc and line6 though.
