That would really sort me out. It looks so much smaller than the Stompjuice too. I do like the look of the hefty Stompjuice but I'd appreciate being able to downsize to a smaller pedalbaord and if it means I can have my effects and DI out of the back of my pre, I'll be a very happy man.

actually does anybody have any experience of the Gator G Bus things?
I am thinking that I might buy one of their big bagged pedalboards and add the G Bus thingy cos you can mount it

or of course take it off and replace it with the Diago one.

The gator has a proprietry connector so if you break the 18v adaptor your essentially screwed, as one of my friends has recently done.

soundlab power bank 450 is great for me. 6 9v outputs for 19 quid from my local guitar shop, and can use a 3 way splitter into each ofg the outputs and still works fine, highly recomend it had no problems with it atall.

Can anyone point me in the direction of another site that stocks something that does the same as this?

Diago are being rubbish, they said they'd have them in stock almost two weeks ago and they still have none.
I get the feeling that there will be a 12V adaptor for the diago PSU soon... That would power your DHA :)

Thanks,

Hi Joe,
do you know if they'll cover anything for 12v AC? I would really like one of these things, and I emailed Diago a couple of days ago to ask if they could advise what I could buy to use in conjunction with the Diago PSU and my Yamaha Magicstomp (yes, yes, I actually use one!), but Ive not had a reply as of yet. I know its only a couple of days but having read this thread I thought Id ask.

Id kinda not bothered thinking about my DHA dual bass but if there is one coming out that would cover this as well, then that would keep me sorted. I only have four pedals and I know the Diago would cover the other two.

Thanks
Andy

I've been looking for a PSU that can include my DHA also, but I think the DHA needs 1500mA or something? Would a diago adaptor be able to handle this much (if it does come out)? I use the diago now and the PSU i got with the DHA, but one single power supply would be great. Thanks

unless i am mistaken (and let's face it, there is always the possibility) the diagos run 3000 mA - you can double check it on diagos website but i couldn't be bothered!

it should tell you on the back of your Diago anyway

We spec 1200mA but a VT1 is about 400mA on switch on and drops to less than 200mA and a VT2 is 700mA on switch and dropping to about 300mA.
rocktron, dc on tap is a very good single psu that can power up to 20 pedals, and has a variety of cables for different types of pedals
OK, so I've just bought one of these and I'm pretty happy with it, except for I have two EHX pedals and the cable set that comes with it only has one EHX adaptor. According to Rocktron's website you can buy extra cable sets seperately but does anyone know where I could get one in the UK?

James Kitchen emailed me saying that their suppliers are moving premises so they can't do any work for a month or two. Midn you I was inquiring about pedalboards so I don't know if that applies to the power supplies.

I suspect that he was refering to custom work... I was at Diago the other day and they've got more stock than I've ever seen there before, especially of the Powerstation and related paraphenalia. :)

Ok, i dragged up an old thread to save starting a new one. (do i get points for that, mods? :) )

So i recently bought a Rocktron DC On Tap Universal stomp box power supply, for daisy chaining my fx. It's sweet, as it comes with different connection leads, including a 9V battery lead.

Anyway, when experimenting, i found some fx made my amp hum, when included: in particular, a Boss DD5 and my Sovtek Big Muff (with the 9V connector lead). The other fx seem to be happy (tremolo, micro amp, tuner etc....). I generally, go Bass - muff - (other fx/tuner) - micro amp - amp.

Is the hum effect specific do you think, or is the power supply itself? (i imagine some might be more efficient than others).

Any ideas appreciated. Ta.

It's a "problem" with the powersupply. It's because you're essentially hooking up all the grounds together. It's one of the faults of some of the less-well-specificed diasy chain style power supplies.

PS, Kudos for not starting a new thread :)!

I use the Gator as its mounted on my gator pedal board and have no issues at all, once i realised i may need a few more cables (3.5 to regular boss style) and emailed gator, a few days later a bunch of them ploopled through my door f.o.c, which was nice!
