Spider-dan
I recently bought a Seymour Duncan SPB 3 ( for my p-bass) but it comes ith 4 screws and 4 rubber O's ? How do I mount/install it? I mocked it up using the O's in place of the springs - however this only supports the pick up cover and not the pick up itself (which just falls into the body). Where am I going wrong? Please help! neepheid
Some kind of foam material placed under the pickup will keep it together.

In answer to your question, I find sticky back foam draft excluder (the stuff you get in a reel) pretty good for placing under the pickup. Dampens vibrations too. Delberthot
Got any pumps? don't the pickups come in a box with foam to protect them? I vaguelly remember using that in the past
