garbev Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 (edited) Hello! I've decided to sell my Lakland 55-01, not getting any use since I got the Bacchus. It's Black, Maple neck and has had an East U-Retro dlx professionally installed. The bass plays and sounds great, the East preamp opens up a huge range of tones on the bass and is much more versatile than the Bartolini pre. It's in lovely condition, no dings only very fine scratches on a small part of the body which don't show up on camera. Comes with a Lakland hardcase. I'm looking for £550 I will consider a P/X of a Jap 70's reissue Jazz Bass( I seem to be collecting them lately) or poss trade for a 4 string Lakland, 44-02dlx, Darryl Jones. Some pix: Thanks, Gary. PauBass Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Does any of you know if the neck on the 55-01 is the same one as the one on the 55-02? I have checked Lakland's website and It seems like they've got the same specs but wanted to double check with someone that has tried/played both of them.
garbev Posted November 5, 2007 Author Posted November 5, 2007 Hi Pablo, The necks are identical, I'm sure other BC,ers can confirm this. Cheers, Gary.
