Flanker
Cmon the last amp you bought from me was awesome!!! Is it fixed yet btw?? The Puma isn't quite in that league.........
Bigwan
Agreed! Totally awesome! After looking at it in a state of undress (it, not me!) it only took me 5 minutes to fix that amp... wouldn't like to say what little was wrong with it. You might get annoyed! I've no need whatsoever for this amp, but it's just so cute and tiny! It's GAS is all...
Bigwan
...what are you replacing this with btw?
Flanker
Going modular ! I have a Crest CA6 which is great but heavy so ideally looking for a Powersoft D series. I like changing stuff so changing pre's is more sensible than changing heads every time. Good plan or daft?

fingerz
I played this amp a couple of weeks ago, it is absolutely mint and sounds fantastic. Anyone who knows Flanker will know it will have been very well looked after. Always a pleasure to deal with too. I actually can't believe you've put it up for sale!! Have a bump for being crazy! Chezz55
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I shouldn't have looked at Bass Merchant/TecAmp websites ('specially since MK ain't a million miles away)- a couple of questions 1 - Is the pre-amp all solid state or is there a valve in there somewhere? 2 - The words suggest the Puma will cope with passive and active basses - any idea how it might react to a Status with 18V active electronics. 3 - Any accessories included (carry case, rack ears, foot switch etc.....) Chris.
Needs must back up!
Flanker
Hi Chris The amp is all solid state - set flat it is deeper than most other lightweight heads I've tried but clean all the way. The EQ is very good on it too. I play both active and passive and I'm sure it would cope with your Status no problem. Never bought a footswitch and it lives in a Skinz gig bag which I bought about three months ago from Mark at BassDirect - all in excellent nick. You could practically walk over and give it a go! I should be around this week if you want to try it out - more than welcome. fretmeister
I have played this very amp at Flanker's house too. Very nice indeed, and in perfect condition. (Love the subtle porn in the first pic - that Alleva bass is lovely!)
51m0n
Ooooh this would drive 2 Berg ae410s at tectonic plate shifting volumes! Shuffles away to cure the GAS with a firm 'Dobie has been bad' hand ironing session.....

Chezz55
Thanks Steve - I'll open domestic negotiations this evening and let you know what happens - we talking evenings/weekend or both? Chris. Flanker
Ha ! Domestic 'negotiations' are the reason the Puma is for sale....... I'm off completely until next week so anytime really.
