Pete Academy Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 (edited) Here are pics of my 1983 Steinberger L2. As mentioned previously, single tone pot replaced by EMG bass/treble active stacked. Battery cover is cracked. Looking for £1400, no offers. I'm asking for less money. Was aiming a bit too high at 2K and also a swap for a Jazz.
BarnacleBob Posted March 5, 2010 Posted March 5, 2010 Hurrmph cheerfully withdrawn, M'Lud! Sadly so near and yet so far - like some I am holding out for a later XL2 but this is still very very nice. BB

Pete Academy Posted March 6, 2010 Author Posted March 6, 2010
SO cool. Could it be tuned Tenor?
Don't see why not with the correct gauge strings.
Doddy Posted March 6, 2010 Posted March 6, 2010 I've just been having a play of this, and it really is a great instrument. It plays really nice and has a great slap sound, very Larry Graham-ish. Great price too.
