Aria Pro II ??

Back when I used to play the guitar a bassist mate had an Aria Pro II.

I've seen a few for sale recently, can someone give me a brief rundown as it's one of the few makes that I'm absolutely clueless about.

That looks like a Korean-built Magna Series built sometime after 1987, probably '90s. Nothing intrinsically wrong with them, but it's essentially a bog-standard Fenderesque P/J. £85 with a case doesn't sound extortionate, worth a haggle though. I used to have a 5-string version & while it sounded OK, & was a good player it was an ergonomic mess compared to the "real thing".

The choicest examples (IMO) are the SB range built between 1979 & 1987 in Japan.
