fryer Posted March 6, 2010 Share Posted March 6, 2010 Hi, I have just bought a Steinberger Spirit 5 string ( from basschat of course ) . The strings are roundwound, gauge 40 to 125 I think. But it buzzes a bit, especially on the lower strings. I guess there is not much choice of strings for this bass, but would flatwounds ( if available ) reduce the buzzing, or should I go for a different gauge ?
