'70s Fender P bass help

Ive just posted a message in the wrong part of the forum . I have '70s P bass I need help in valueing and ageing

Quickest way to date is to plug the serial number (on the neck plate) into the web-based Fender serial dater [url="http://www.guitardaterproject.org/fender.aspx"]http://www.guitardaterproject.org/fender.aspx[/url]

Obviously this will in part determine the value (the older the more vaulable)

It looks like the early 1970s version with the bold TV logo on the headstock - S.No will be 6 digits on the 'F' stamped neckplate

Late 1970s version had the S.No , with S for '70s on the headstock, e.g. S8***** for 1978, with slightly smaller lettering for the PRECISION BASS, lighter varnish and a plain 'F' stamp neck plate.

Any other type of serial numbers means it's the current reissue version with 'TV' logo, but these tend to have lighter wood/varnish, (or it's not wholly original/ fake).
