I have now bought a Gramma pad [/quote] Don't I know it , you beat me to it by a couple of minutes. Just about to bag it and the bloody phone rang, by the time I'd got rid of the twat you'd got it. That emoticon is supposed to be here, today I will mostly be a F@*kwit. Edited August 18, 2011 by gerryc

karlfer
Nice one FlatEric, thanks for sharing. I would love to get one of the branded ones. Guess I wouldn't be too upset at £45 for one of these, but then £7 for delivery makes them seem very expensive compared to yours. Karl. NJE
Well I finally got to give my Great Gramma a go on Saturday night. We played a wedding in a marquee with a shocking wooden box staging and I was dreading it so it was the perfect first test for the gramma. The only thing I could think was why on earth did I not buy one of these 10 years ago!!!! seriously good piece of kit in fact with my Gig Skinz bag I would say the best purchases I have ever made. There was occasionally one or two notes that had a very slight boomy-ness but considering what I was playing on I heard my bass sound almost perfectly all night long, tight, focussed and no real loss in bottom end. Go and get one now, it seriously is the best money you will ever spend if your playing crappy wooden stages. I got a wicked deal on mine but on reflection £50 for the normal gramma is a bargain!
