Stacker
I've posted this in the @importing section but thought I'd capture more attention here. That's my V63 out of the window, then!

robocorpse
They've obviously been threatened to cease and desist by G*bson or F*nd*r. Shame that the musical instrument market is becoming subject to the same restrictions as DVD regions nowadays, and being enforced. Very sad. Rickenbacker are the arch bastards for this sort of thing, all kinds of strict rules about not shipping parts internationally, so you officially had to pay £125 and a 6 month wait for a part from Rose Morris you could have had in 2 weeks for $99 under the counter from a well known Ric parts stockist in California... BigRedX
It's got nothing to do with Fender or Gibson, we're talking about the Ubox which is their second hand outlet where TBH all the interesting stuff is the home-grown offerings from Tune, Atlansia and so on... I think the real reason has a lot to do with trying to process requests in a foreign language (not Japanese) and the fact that with the time difference between Japan and their major foreign markets, Europe and the US a lot of the time by the time someone from these areas has sent a request for more information about an instrument, it's already been sold to someone local. Using eBay makes things simpler for Ishibashi in terms of dealing with foreign customers, but it's unfortunate that because of the less interesting nature of the stock their they are penalising those customers who what something with a bit more to it than a CIJ Fender (yawn).
