Bass Rig hire

I no longer own any bass gear but have been asked by our ex drummer to play at his mums birthday party. He has managed to get hold of a bass and has offered to hire me some gear.

Does anyone know where I could hire a small rig or even better a half decent combo from for about £30 in the Manchester Area?
