Dunno if you can get in in this country but Aria do make a stand for it. See;

Hi Mike.

On the back of the SWB there's a threaded hole which is the right size for a camera tripod. I picked up a cheap one which is sturdy enough to stop it toppling over. Having said that, I've done plenty if gigs where I've forgotten the stand and just wedged it into a corner out the way and not had any disasters so far.

I asked this question elsewhere but noticed that you were talking about the Aria swb here so thought i would post on this one as well.

I just bought a second hand Aria SWB lite & noticed that it was made in Japan, i thought that they were all made in Korea so wondered if anyone could shed any light?

I had to hunt for one recently and I came up with THIS which works well with my BSX Allegro. The key thing for me was finding something where the supporting arms would raise up high enough for the short body with the spike out. This one does it for me, the spike is 21 inches and it's just off the floor.

I spent most of this evening researching this and found a few threads on Talkbass about using cymbal stands. Looks ideal. How did you attach it to yours?

Guys

Just chanced on this thread so I'm a bit late. However, I would have liked to enclose a photo but my camera is playing up, so i'll describe - it's so simple. This will work for a Stagg, Aria and anything sticklike. Anything a bit more substantial I don't know. Simply take an upright chrome guitar stand, cut the upright bit off to stand approx 12"high, smooth off and stick the end pin in it. Sounds precarious but just you try it. This assumes that the lenth of tube is approximately the same as the end pin length.
