Paul_C
this might be just the thing : http://www.fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0968200021 played one briefly this afternoon and it felt very nice - didn't have time to plug it in to see what it sounded like, but if I needed an acoustic bass I'd probably grab one (as it is I might still do something silly )
OutToPlayJazz
I've looked at these a few times & they seem really good for the money! Go for it
Marvin
Definitely one to consider. I was invited to an acoustic jam session recently and that sort of thing would fit the bill and come in handy for other things. EDIT: Just checked with Mrs M. Apparently I won't be getting one. Rich
260 quid or so, apparently. Headstock spoils it for me.

If i wanted an acoustic bass to mess around on i'd probably get a harley benton bass. edit: oh you did say it had a jazz bass neck. Sorry. Rich
The best ABG I have ever played by a mile was the Washburn AB34. Great upper fret access, lovely fast neck, really comfortable. Discontinued. Damn.
