Quick head advice.

from my experience transistors are about £15 each and my head had 10 to replace to depends on what the head has inside and whether you think its worth it

Are n't these the same as early Mark Bass design?
Spares may be common to both perhaps?

Sold mine a few months ago, yeah basically it's a Markbass TA503. Buy buy buy!

I know a good tech in Maidstone who can do these sort of things.. Don't be in a raging hurry and he'll turn it over in a week or so of getting it, maybe..

If you Google Musicman HD500 there is a complete schematic available for it. Any competant electronics engineer should be able to fix it with that.
