My band, The Stax Brothers will be appearing at this splendid hostelry on Friday 19th March.

If anyone thinks they may learn something from my bass-playing, I am obliged to point out that most bass tutors in the area cite me as essential study to all of their pupils at some stage during their course. It's under the heading of 'That's what happens if you don't practice'.

Thank you.

Gramma Pad? Sounds like something you squeeze between your butt-cheeks to help you with punctation etc.

I'll be taking my 2x15 which is on castors so not sure if it needs said device.

Hmm... I'm not sure if bags of sugar will have the same effect? :)

Just a little bumpity nudge for anyone with nowt else better to do on Friday night.

I hate to think of Wateroftyne, solo, by his own, on himself, a single audient emitting a round of applaud.

Gah, yet again engaged. :) (But auditioning a new drummer, no less! )

Have a good show, Howard.

Only popped in for an hour but I was very impressed. The metro took longer than expected though so I missed some :)

I would have come to look at that lovely Fender but drool may have ruined the electrics.

No worries, the place was full after all.

Anytime you want to see the Fender close up, give me a call.

I couldn't hang around (long, boring story) but it was great.

Shame I missed you, MM20!

Damn! Just spotted this thread now! Will try to make it next time...

Love the Maggie bank - played some great gigs there over the years. Good beer, good food, good crowd! :)
