Been after one of these for a while, and missed out on one this forum just a little while ago.

What would be a realistic offer for this? and how much will the shipping/tax be likely to the uk?

One line of the ad:

"THIS BASS IS MADE IN USA and according to Serial number was manufactured in 1980!"

another line:
"THIS BASS is not Japanese, Mexican, Chinese, Korean on Indonesian This is a 1972 made in USA Fender Precision Bass!"

Is it a 1980 or a '72?

Yeah i noticed that, think he cut and pasted from another ad he had....its definately an 80.....although -1 to him for not checking his ad!

Have a look at [url="http://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk"]http://classicandcoolguitars.co.uk[/url] He had two of these for sale the last time I looked at his site. I bought my P bass from here and am very pleased with it. Thorough and accurate descriptions and good photos, and if you're near enough you can make an appointment to go try them. No import duty either!
