budget bassist
Wow, they are good, love the zeppelin covers, he sounds worryingly similar to robert plant in places.

Hamster
Having just been asked if I could do some lead vocals in a band that's coming together - I'm feeling a little inadequate now!
OldGit
Sound fantatsic. Brilliant with my eyes closed but then...... Just imagine how much better that would be if they didn't look like they are reharsing in their garage in the clothes they wear to fix the car. What about the show, chaps? Compare and contrast: Jimmy Page even strums chords in a Big Show kinda way....
Stingray5
Never mind their covers (as good as they are), these guys have some pretty decent original material too. flyfisher
This is the sort of thing that kinda upsets me about the music industry. These guys are clearly brilliant musicians but if it weren't for the web how many people would ever hear them? And there are countless other examples of wonderful musicians and songwriters who will never make a living at their craft while the "pop industry" feeds us all pap. Ho hum. Just feeling a bit grumpy today.

I stand corrected, sir. It's been a year or two since I moved up to secondary school...

That makes it so much better. Otherwise you may as well stay at home and put the orginal records on. The Op band's orginals sound just like other people's stuff too but not quite as good as, say, Wolfmother who ride that one pretty well. If you want to hear this music played best, put Pink Floyd or Led Zep on your stereo. To make money you have to sell big concerts, CD's or tracks, and merchandise.. I can't see these guys doing much of any of that so why should anyone invest money in them that coudl be gooing on a new band of youngsters dong new music? Why anyone would want, say Abba Gold's album of Abba songs is beyond me... That's why these guys are not getting air play and exposure and promotion. Now if they only did their orginal stuff, oh and put on a show, that might be different. When Zep came out who wanted to listen to someone playing Vera Lynne and Joe Loss covers? Nope, they wanted to hear Led Zeppelin playing Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy Waters and Joan Baez covers Edited March 15, 2010 by OldGit
