RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 I have an original gig bag ,which came with my Steinberger full bodied bass. I also have a cool gig bag (levinson )which I got when I purchased my Washburn Status many moons ago.(Wow ) Trouble is,they've both seen better days. The annoying thing about the Levinson ,is that it's just the part where the zips are pulled that are broken off. The zips themselves still move but I'm getting fed up pulling said zips without the proper tags. The Steinberger one is,in my opinion too tight a fit . Is it true that status/steinberger basses do fit into lead guitar bags/cases? Or is it best to track down a Status gig bag/case? Also ,regarding zips: when the tag breaks off, are they really doomed and beyond repair? Please advise Quote

Pete Academy Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 There's a Hohner gig bag at $39.95 on here. http://www.edroman.com/guitars/steinberger...uitar_cases.htm Might work out OK if shipping isn't too much. Quote
Pete Academy Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Oops sorry! Didn't realise you said full-bodied. They usually fit into guitar gig bags. Quote
RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted March 14, 2010 Author Posted March 14, 2010 Crikey! Such quick responses I'd assume the Guitar bags are cheaper,so I'll be looking at those. Cheers Quote
