Johngh
OK, I have a Epi Thunderbird that has the dreaded neck dive. I know that there is a cure by re positioning the top strap button, but where is the best place to re position it to cure the problem. I don't fancy doing a pin the tail on the donkey job if you now what I mean. If anyone can post a photo of the best place to put an additional strap button I will be eternally grateful. jon_kemo
I seem to remember some people saying to relocate the strap button to where one of the neck screws is? Sure someone else will correct me if I'm wrong.

FlatEric
Hi. There is and "S" Shaped strap, from the US, which apparently sorts the problem out. I am currently looking into them for my Explorer bass, which is a little head heavy. I'll come back to you. Cheers.

I bought the Epi because I'm in a Wishbone Ash tribute band. I'm getting grief from the other lads because I won't play the Epi due to the neck dive. I'll re position the button before rehearsal tonight and give it another go.
