jsixties Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 (edited) Try to find a piece like this worldwide: My main fretless for recording, never gigged: 1976 fretless P-Bass in an incredible near mint condition, only a tiny mark without any impact and hard to photograph in the back of the neck. All original till the last screw. Serial: 76 47406. Pots: 1377613. Very lightweight, less than 8lbs. Premium ash body, rosewood board without any marks (always set-up with flatwounds). Truss rod works flawless, stay tuned for months, not any issue at all with this beauty. Original Hardshell case and sealed Fender duster and mutes included. Currently set-up with brand new La Bella 760N Black Nylon strings with a very low action, I will include two expensive brand new extra sets with the sale/trade. This is the best CBS Fender bass I've found in my life and I owned dozens, my promise. Sounds incredible with a warm strong signal without any noises at all, EXACTLY as the one in the first The Police albums. Please contact me through PM. Thanks. Edited April 20, 2010 by jsixties
jsixties Posted March 17, 2010 Author Posted March 17, 2010 (edited) Thank you Wil, it's a GREAT bass in every aspect, very hard to find in this excellent condition. One more picture with the La Bella 760N Black Nylon strings: Edited March 29, 2010 by jsixties
bassvid75 Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 its really mint, i do own one 76Precision but fretted and its a powerfull bass, good luck
BigBeatNut Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 Unbeatable looks (IMHO) for a fretless precision. If only it had 5 strings <* dreams *> ... good luck with the sale.
jsixties Posted March 28, 2010 Author Posted March 28, 2010 Thank you Philly, this bass is a gem, no doubt about it.
jsixties Posted March 29, 2010 Author Posted March 29, 2010 Hard to believe but still here, sincerely I don't think there's any other like this available for sale worldwide in this condition and so lightweight.
KiOgon Posted March 29, 2010 Posted March 29, 2010 That is lovely - but I still can't get the right Lotto numbers Good luck with the sale, somebody will get a fantastic bit of kit + history! John
