Prolly the battered finish that put people off. If it was a Fender that'd be mojo & there's plenty as would be going all damp at the seams, but as it's "just" a Yam it's "scruffy". Beats me.

If it were me I'd have that lot off - looks like a lovely cut of something under that burst.

I was watching that for ages and decided against bidding. Starting to get pangs of regret!

It was pretty messed-up though. I emailed the guy and he said there were some nicks on the neck too which would bother me more.

he never bought it new in 2001 - that I am certain!

stop making that particular model early 90's...I got mine second hand in 96 for £800 a new price of £1700 was quoted then.....

anyhoo...alot of bass for not a lot of money!
