No the early ABM's looked exactly the same as the MAG's look now. MAGs are carpet covered, my ABM is buffolo leather, but the front looks the same as the MAGS

the minis and the compacts are different - and the compacts in turn are different to the full size 15s
the mags are carpet covered.
