I [b]knew[/b] I'd seen that triangle before, but for the life of me couldn't remember where.

The Kay reissues (which in hindsight, I read about a year or so ago I think) have the triangle too.



But since the clip is from 1974, that's Paul McCartney playing an original Kay bass then. :-o

Jazz Special Bass. The Jazz Special is sometimes called the Paul McCartney model because he was pictured playing one. It’s basically the 162 morphed into a double-cutaway with an abstractshaped pickguard. It has the same Thin Twin pickups.
It appears that they are to be re-issued,made both in the far east and USA.

Edit: I thought I'd see if I could find a better picture. But, I just learnt not to put "ebony and ivory video" into google image search with safesearch turned off!
