Kohpnyn Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 (edited) This is the now discontinued Ashdown Superfly 500w bass head. I removed them because they alone weighed about 3kg, and the amp gets pretty hot. The reason i'm selling it is because I don't really need an amp at the moment, and would prefer to get a Cafe Walter headphone amp or something for practice. I quite like the tone of the amp. It sounds pretty nice flat, and i've never really felt the need to mess about with the EQ. Pics: Sold as seen in picture with a power cable (and packaged, obviously) If you're particular about wanting the plates etc I can dig around for them but I can't promise i'll find them. With them on delivery will also cost more. Selling it for £180 ono I'd imagine delivery would be about £15. Paypal is fine. PM me with any questions. Edited April 13, 2010 by Kohpnyn
Kohpnyn Posted March 24, 2010 Author Posted March 24, 2010 Turns out I was very much off with the pricing, so i've dropped it to £180.
throwoff Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 These things never seemed that popular when they came out and I still dont understand why! Its a brilliant piece of amplifier. Not in the Market myself by free bump!
Kohpnyn Posted April 13, 2010 Author Posted April 13, 2010 The say that an image can be worth 1000 words. In this case it's about 3. Price drop to £160
TPJ Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Are these bridgeable so 500w into 4 ohms? I'm lazy and didn't look it up

You need 2 cabs at 4ohms each to get the full power. Biggest downside to these amps. Mines makes a great wee practice amp in the house now but I gigged mine mercilessly for about 3 years so they can do the job.
