M-Bass-M
I was just browsing through the Fender colour chart - as you do - and came across the following: Now that ain't like no Fender I've ever seen! With the double humbucker it's more like a G&L, the pickup switch is much like a HH Stingray, and I'll be damned if I know what the two little switches are by the jack! Anybody got an idea of what this is? Have one? Know where to get one? Cheers Mark

Doddy
That is indeed a Roscoe Beck IV. The 5 string version was one of the first Fender signature Basses-after the Stu Hamm 'Urge'. I think the two switches are series/parallel switches. Great Bass for a great player.

M-Bass-M
Thanks for the replies. Well whaddya know, you learn something new every day! Just checked out the price and specs on the Intarweb, looks very nice indeed...albeit for a cool £1,300 new! Think my GAS levels have just increased significantly. I'll be sure to watch the FS section for a likely future addition!
