KiOgon
Only fancy these 2 but would like to know what's good? Help please!
dudewheresmybass
in terms of wahs there are a few discussions already underway about which on is best. they normally come down to three mass market pedals ( Dunlop 105q, Morley models, and Ibanez weeping demon) plus boutique options (Wilson, MSD etc.) Realistically, there are tons of video reviews on youtube if trying these out is a problem For reverb, i've had some great results with the marshall reflector. It retails at less than most of the competition, yet still sounds great! I'm sure others will add their opinions too, but i hope this helps. PS - Can i have a go on your bass? OldGit
I changed my Weeping Demon WD7 for a Dunlop 105Q last year and really like the relative simplicity. The WD7 did too much. All I wanted was a wah. The 105Q does just that.
EskimoBassist
+1 Dunlop 105Q and +1 Marshall Reflector. Both sit happily on my pedalboard. Great pedals.

dannybuoy
If you don't mind spending a little extra, check out the Wilson wahs. I'm gassing for one. KiOgon
Has anybody tried the Boss RV-5 Digital Reverb?
Bassnut62
Haven't tried the RV-5 and don't want to! I have had the RV-3 for about 10 years and frankly I wouldn't bother with the reverb side. The delay is only OK too. I prefer analog over digital every time. The Boss reverb is so thin, metallic and fake. The digital side is very sterile too. Also IME tone-suckage of cheap Boss gear is generally horrible too. I hope I haven't disappointed you there. If I was after a reverb unit, I would be checking out the one Gnasher1993 has been selling on this forum and on Talk Bass.
KiOgon
Cheers Bassnut62, no disappointment - thanks for sharing your opinion. I'm not impressed with the Boss stuff at all from what I've seen & heard so far. I'm loving the cry baby, thinking about a fuzz now + a reverb is still on the wants list - addictive ain't it! dannybuoy
Check out this demo of the Line6 Verbzilla on bass. The Octo mode is especially glorious! Best bang for buck out there. I see you have the Ashdown Little Bastard - it would be awesome if you could post a review or even some recorded clips of what it sounds like cranked! :brow:

Thanks for the Big Muff recommendation, I'm still liking the look of your DHA I have no idea where to start recording clips from my LB, but trust me - it sounds exactly how an all tube bass amp should, exceedingly good! Seriously exactly what I hoped for, best sounds of all with my Frank Bello = no tone controls on the guitar just straight from the 1/4 lb pups (via volume pots) - absolutely brilliant! As for 'cranking it up' I'm thinking - July 4th, in my garden - bass version of Hendrix's Star spangled banner? (Woodstock '69) The neighbours love me really + I can keep my pies warm on top
fretmeister
The Weeping Demon is an excellent bit of kit. I got mine after I sold the woeful Morley Dual Bass Wah. The WD is very adjustable. The only downside is the size of the thing.
Finbar
Yeah, I really don't like the Marshall reverb. I'm quite liking the variety of reverbs in my M9 at the moment, and as far as I know they all come from the Verbzilla, so +1 for that.
