Of course, in the studio it could have been anything........ (There are some lovely bass parts on Escape - it's one of my all-time favourite play-along albums). On this track it's probably either a Peavey T-40, a Steinberger XL or more likely an Ovation Magnum he is playing.... through a Chorus pedal with plenty of mids in his EQ...
