iconic Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 (edited) great fun to play....and the kids will know it too but what is the bass....looks like a 70's Fender head & pickguard with a sort of sexy ARIA SB-1000 dual striped body Edited March 26, 2010 by iconic Quote
warwickhunt Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 (edited) Fender Musicmaster... is it not? <edit> I should add 'wtf do I know as it certainly doesn't have a W on the headstock'! Edited March 26, 2010 by warwickhunt Quote
The Bass Doc Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Yup, Fender Musicmaster with a stripped-down body showing not good matching bits of wood. There's also some obvious sampling of vocals from an old Val Doonican classic. Quote
iconic Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 not so tough afterall...some real Fender anoraks here ....if it had been a Yamaha..... Quote
hillbilly deluxe Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 I think that you are wrong this time Horrid, the vocal sample was Roger Whittaker. Quote

The Bass Doc Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 No, sorry chaps, it's definitely Val Doonican. The only other one it could have been was Perry Como but, if you set your audio to 'ultra-sensitive' you'll notice the scraping of fibres from a cable-knit cardigan (90% Acrylic, 10% Polyamide).
