Fender '51 P bass Bridge Cover

Brand new bridge cover for P bass '51 P/N 0032979000 genuine Fender was a bargain $13.99 + postage from the states.
It won't fit on mine sensibly 'cos it's got a Hipshot bridge, which is wider than normal & closer to bottom edge.
