"I have therefore set a very fair price for a quick sale" The word Chancer springs to mind, surely he would know that anyone who was interested in buying a bass of this calibre would do there homework and see that its far too expensive and you can easily get a new EB sterling for that price if you shop around and haggle, it wont sell.

As kevbass has pointed out you could get a new one for that price. I know the seller has paid extra for the colour, headstock and scratch plate but should that really be reflected in the 2nd hand price?. I bought a 2nd hand Stingray in vintage sunburst and that wasn't priced any differently to the others in the shop. "This is a one of a kind bass" are you sure?.
