Which Hipshot D-tuner do you use on a Squire VM Jazz & a Pre EB Ray?

Think about getting a D-tuner for my VM & maybe my 79 ray but i know little about these and i am really confused as to whcih ones i need, can any body shed some light? And if anybody has one for sale let me know

BT1 for the 'Ray. Acquire one and you might find it's also the closest for the Squier.

I would say a BT1 however the VM is based on an older fender and im not entirely sure what year its meant to be.

Could be a BT2 which is for 67-82 fenders

I have a BT1 on my 79 Ray and it looks the part. Only slight issue is that the stem of the tuner is sliiiiightly longer than the rest of them, but its hardly noticeable

Hipshot recommend the BT7 for the VM Jazz.

It fits ok but needs new holes drilling for the screws.
