silentbob
Listed in title and info box as a Fender, but the word Westfield crops up in the discription. Bassassin
You can see the ghost of the old logo under the pikey headstock label. Jon.
tom1946
Just reported it to ebay, then saw this. I really hate people that write: Fender Jazz Bass or something similar then when you waste your time looking it's a copy. I know it shouldn't bother me but it's a pikey way to behave and I report them.
Annoying Twit
Listing is now "ended". Is that because someone reported the listing, or because someone paid £130 for a second hand Westfield? I thought that when listings were reported and cancelled, that they disappear altogether. I find it really annoying that on certain forums (HC *cough*) people seem to say that it doesn't matter how many times sellers say "I'M SELLING MY FENDER BASS" "THIS IS A FENDER BASS" provided that somewhere way down in the listing it says "oh, by the way, this is a copy". Bassassin
If it's an Ebay listing, even mentioning the word "Fender" (or even "Precision" or "Jazz" because in this context they are registered trademarks) technically breaks their rules on trademark infringement, and they can remove it. You can say "copy", "fake", "replica", "knock-off" etc as much & as clearly as you want and they can still yank it off. So to speak. Most of these listings don't usually get removed, so I think this one's now gone because it's been reported. J.
Ou7shined
Which is a shame really as with a BIN of £130 and all the easy clues (like mentioning the real manufacturer) you couldn't expect it to be genuine. There have been far sneakier ones got through the net.
