Sugden Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 (edited) Ibanez SR506. Loverly bass hell of alot of bass for the money I personaly don't think the likes of the yamaha TRB come close, or much under 1k but each to their own. Only selling it as I'm releasing some funds to buy a car and I can always hunt for another one, which I will be doing. £350 ono I'm more keen on collection but might consider posting it. I live in Bristol and travel home to Ross-on-Wye on weekends and work in Swindon every day so thats a large area for meeting someone. As can be seen from the last image small amount of wear by the C string and a very small dent by where I would place my thumb. Other than that good condition. Cheers Sug Edited May 16, 2010 by Sugden
Sugden Posted March 30, 2010 Author Posted March 30, 2010 O and no trades unless its on a nice 2006 + Honda Civic
karlthebassist Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 Nooooooooooooooo! Why do 506's ALWAYS come up when I can't afford them?! They really are amazing. Someone will be getting a truly great bass.
Sugden Posted April 6, 2010 Author Posted April 6, 2010 Just a bit of a bump along with just found the box it was delivered to me in, so might consider postage. Cheers Sug

Still here open to offers.
TheButler Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 I'm trying to figure out if this is my old bass..? Regardless they were amazing, i really regret selling it. I completely agree re the remark about TRBs and the best under £1k.
Sugden Posted April 13, 2010 Author Posted April 13, 2010 (edited) I'm affraid I doubt it, it came from the bay for a friend. He then decided a 6 string wasn't for him and it flew it's way into my loving embrace. Still here. Cheers Edited April 13, 2010 by Sugden
TheButler Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Ah, i bought mines from the US - for a bargain price. It was totally worth the hassle of having it shipped. Good luck.
Born 2B Mild Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I've got an SR506 (and a SR505) and what I'd like to add to the thread is that this is a great sixer to start on ...not that it isn't a great one to have regardless of experience, but that the slim neck and great balance just makes the transition easier. Good luck with the sale!
Sugden Posted May 1, 2010 Author Posted May 1, 2010 Sold awaiting collection and the normal money exchange.
