Stylon Pilson
Every time I need to set my intonation, I need to go online to remind myself that if the 12th fret is flat (relative to the open string), then I need to shorten the string, and not the other way round. Does anyone know any good tricks or mnemonics to make this easier to recall? S.P.
EssentialTension
If it's fLat then the string is too Long. If it's Sharp then the string is too Short. Edited March 30, 2010 by EssentialTension
JimBobTTD
4F - flat? Forward, f***face. Vulgar, but I've never forgotten it.

Alpha-Dave
I just remember this: f1 = ((T/(m/L))^0.5)/2L f1 = fundamental frequency T = String tension m = string mass L = string length
