BassBum
Any idea of the effects I could use to recreate the sound on the bass for this tune. I do have (luckily) an X3 pro. Have tried various chorus effects but cannot seem to nail it. Help really appreciated
Bassnut62
Great and brave question! That song is so naff, many would not admit to liking anything about it. But you're right that is an interesting bass sound. Some kind of treated chorus would be my natural instinct. Somehow tremolo jumps into my mind; but i've never used one. I would like to know the answer to your question too. I bet you would get the answer from the folk on the Talk Bass forum. Have you tried there? WarPig
it sounds like a synth and chorus
jonny-lad
I quite like the song...despite the cheesiness! But yeah - I'd think some kind of synth with chorus.

I agree, sounds more synth to me - but could be a blend of bass and synth.
