dodgnofski
Hi Guys, Anyone know how to remove a decal from a headstock? Really love this Bass, but the decal is really naff! Thanks, Tim
Musky
In a word - sandpaper. Assuming it's an unpainted headstock, take it back using a light grade sandpaper initially, then go to a very fine grade. Finally use T Cut to buff out. Then lacquer, apply new decal (if you want one) and re-lacquer. You might want to take a look at http://www.reranch.com/basics.htm

7string
If you're looking for a new decal try Plankspanker on ebay I've got a bass which I'm re-finishing at the moment and I had this made for it. The bass is a biddy 3/4 size which my wife bought me for Valentine's Day. Edited April 7, 2010 by 7string
