SpinalTap
Some fair points, but don't forget the Celinder is a 'copy' of a early sixties Stackknob Jazzbass. Now that I have an original stackknob Fender that I even like a bit more than the Celinder, it would be a shame to use this bass for backup. So the next few months I will think about de-fretting, or selling this bass.

SpinalTap
First you got to be sure, this would be the type of Celinder you are looking for. I always thought there is something really special about the passive Celinder basses, but soundwise they are very different from the famous J Update sound. SpinalTap
That lightweight Update of yours is still a bass I would love to own. Usually I don't like black basses, bur with this control layout it just works.

I guess the problem with Celinders (or the good thing depending on whether you own one or not) is that it's all in house stuff, so they're pretty unique... Though a few days in the simulator should cover a new purchase! Lol. It's just finding one in the first place is the problem in my experience. Come round anytime to keep the g.a.s at bay and so I can noodle on the Nordy and Glock...
