Will a Warwick Rockstand stain/damage nitrocellulose finish?

Got a Warwick rockstand, the metal framed one with foam encased top and bottom bits (see pic below). I have read that some foams will stain, dissolve or damage niitro finishes. Does anyone know if a Warwick stand is safe from this?

If it's got that neoprene foamy covering then yes. Use a towel, or learn to love the stain.

Thanks Joe. Does surprise me a bit as you would have thought that, of all the general music equipment manufacturers, Warwick would be the most geared towards and understanding of basses and bass care. Mind you they prefer driftwood to nitro finishes (waits for Warwick fan club to lob grenades his way)
