I only use one GS and they do indeed project low notes well. The GS12 is reknown as being scooped somewhat in the mids..which I thought I would not like, but it works rather well as when you dial in those mids, they are there and useful but not harsh.

A forgiving 12 IMO and 2 are supposed to sound so much better than the sum of... so I magine a GS412 is quite a monster.

It might be regarded by some as a lesser 12 but I think it ( the GS ) has a different bias to the DB cab. I believe the chassis' of the GS and DB cabs are the same though, IIRC, just voiced differently through the cab design.
