beardybass
I love me some gospel bass like, I'll check those out when I get home! (at work now) the reason I just came actually was to ask if anyone knows who played on the Ladysmith Black Mambazo track 'River of Dreams'? Loving the stone on there. JonnyB
Whilst on the subject of Abe Laboriel, I saw him (unexpectedly) on a youtube vid yesterday, this one, a scoring session for 'The Incredibles', at 2.54, his usual vivacious self, no coverage of him playing unfortunately, I guess he must be on a load of film soundtracks - anyone know any others he's on? I must check out this film & listen out for him!
Rosh
I have to say that religion is re-heally not my thing, but that's besides the point here -- I love the music, I love the atmosphere and I'd love to play in a band like that! It looks how being a musician should be! Fantastic stuff, love it!

Yep, b5 - I've been a big fan of mr 'knightmayorz', from the youtube clip on your first post. Absolutely effortless playing, never a note out of place. Don't know how he does it. Seems a bit more consistent with the gospel to me
chardbass
Sharay Reed all the way although Thaddeus Tribbett is pretty frightening on many instruments.
