Grand Wazoo Posted April 3, 2010 Posted April 3, 2010 I've found this seller on ebay that has some sweet fretboard decals, check them out http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/creative-cuts__W0QQ_armrsZ1 Quote
Rich Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Oh yes, I like these. The abalone J blocks are especially convincing. The Spector MOP ones are nice too. Neat idea. Quote
Grand Wazoo Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 This is their official website, http://www.ccinlays.com/ccinlays/pearlfx-d...GUE-PEARLFX.htm There's more there than on the ebay listings. Quote
ashevans09 Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Is quite a nice idea, but not entirely convinced they'll last a long time though tbh Quote
Rich Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 I would imagine it probably depends on a few human factors -- how hard you play, how sweaty the bass gets, etc..? Quote

Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 (edited) I would probably love these if I was 14 and had a single £100 bass, but I bet they look a bit crap up close. Edited April 7, 2010 by Jean-Luc Pickguard Quote

Actually I meant that some of them didn't look like they were put on straight (not cut wonky) - which is up to the 'user', but still potential to look naff. Quote
Rich Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Fair point. Although the manufacturer can't do much to cope with potential customer hamfistedness really Quote

Grand Wazoo Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 I am thinking towards the roman numerals which are reminiscent of John Entwhistle's basses. I would put a set of those on a nice maple necked P Quote
